Google Pixel 6 Pro Review – Google’s Flagship That Challenges The Best In The Business

Google Pixel 6 Pro is Google’s first top-tier smartphone that challenges some of the best competing devices out there, and it’s been doing it quite efficiently. Giving you the purest Android experience, the handset has a lot of great things to talk about. It offers a brilliant camera, a big screen, and a lot more for a very competitive price. Want to explore more details about Google’s latest flagship? Check out our Google Pixel 6 Pro review here.

Design

The Google Pixel 6 Pro comes with a new, fresh design with a beautiful curved display and a glass back. Another noticeable change in the design is the horizontal camera bar at the rear of the device. It’s a remarkable change that gives a unique look to the handset. However, due to the camera strip, the phone can’t sit flat on a surface. The device’s rear has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus technology protection, and it can’t get scratched easily. You can hold the phone comfortably as it comes with curved edges.

The fingerprint reader sits under the display and works just fine. At the bottom of the phone, there’s a USB-C port, with the speakers flanking it on either side. The power and volume buttons are stacked to the right side of the device.

Display

You get a big 6.7” QHD+ screen with a 1440 x 3120 resolution on your Google Pixel 6 Pro. It’s a sharp display with 512ppi pixel density and gives you crisp picture quality. It is at par with other top handsets on the market in terms of color accuracy and color saturation. However, it may lag behind a little when it comes to brightness. The dynamic 120Hz refresh rate makes the screen perfectly fluid when needed but can go down to 10Hz only for saving the battery.

Cameras

The camera setup featured in the Google Pixel 6 Pro is probably the best we have seen from the manufacturer yet. The camera array is equipped with a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and 114-degree field-of-view, and a 48MP telephoto lens that gives you up to 4x optical zoom with its folded optics. It gives you up to 20x digital zoom as well, and the final shots are cleaned up with its AI-powered Super Res Zoom.

The front camera is an 11.1MP snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. It gives you nice portrait shots, decent video quality during calls, and natural colors in selfies. The selfie camera also sports up to 4K video recording.

Overall, you can expect the cameras to capture high-resolution photos with true-to-life colors and good detail.
